Update 2010

Dolls, here is a little update! From now, I am not posting any pictures of my flings! You know what I mean! No more pictures of what I got! Somehow, its more like bragging and nagging rather than sharing! I know many of you must be relieved hearing this!

If you observe, I normally like posting my own pictures! I like to use the pictures of products I buy! I dont like to copy them from websites! The reason, I dont want somebody to think that I am a big time bluff! You know what I mean! People talking, "What if she really didnt buy that? What if she is simply talking about it?" But, I will definitely try to post a swatch or a picture when I do the review!

Still, posting pictures is such a pain in the ***! In fact, I really admire one of my friends Tanveer, a fellow beauty blogger for implementing that in her blog! Posting pictures consumes hell lotta time! Its really irritating, especially when there is no proper light! Talk about seeing sun in UK! If you see him, its like "Who's that?"

Thats the reason I never post any swatches, especially the eye shadows! I have a couple of friends requesting since long time! Girls, this is the reason I dont post them! I want to do something for the day, but it ends up crap! No use trying! So, I just wanted to let you know that you will have complete access to all the swatches once I am back to India, which is by May 2010! Until then, please bear with me!

P.S: Ignore this update!

Artistry brands at beautiful prices...

http://www.beautycrunch.com/ is one of the places where you get good brands for a reasonable price. They dont accept returns, their sales being final. Not sure about the shipping, though...

It has some high-end brands like Stila...others being DuWop, Too Faced, Lola Cosmetics so on! I have been lemming over the Stila top sellers i.e. lip glazes and "Black is the New Black" for eyes...

Speaking about the "Black is the New Black", it has Smudge pot in Black, eye shadow in Pewter and Convertible Lash & Line in Black.

Convertible Lash & Line is liner at one end and mascara at the other end. As simple as that! Smudge pot is a gel eyeliner with an inky intensity. It is a must-have for those killer eyes. I am not sure if this particular eye shadow is from their permanent collection.

Smudge pot alone retails for whopping $20 and eye shadows for $18 whereas you get the "Black is the New Black" thing for $12, which is $74 value...what more could I ask for?

Lip glazes normally retail for about $22 whereas you get those for about $8 - $12 :) I am not so sure, but looks like the same size to my eyes...

Maybelline discontinued Watershine range...

My favorite lippie gone foreva boo-hooooooooooooooooooooooooo :(

Yesterday was the first day at work. BTW, I volunteer at Cancer Research UK...since yesterday. The sad part is I have to work only once a week like every tuesday. What I like the most is at last I found myself surrounded my tonnes of books and I was like "How I wish I stay here till I finish all of these, at least the interesting ones...?" Thats a different story, anyway.

I have been to the drug store in search of Maybelline Watershine lipsticks which have been getting my attention for quite a long time. The sad part was I found that they are discontinued. Maybelline has come up with a new range called Color Sensational with nudes, pinks, plums and reds. So, there is surely something for everybody.

I asked the store assistant if she could find some Watershine lipsticks for me from the draws and she was like "I am afraid..." I didnt know that, but I am hoping to get these in bigger drug stores at Glasgow. I am not so sure if they do the same way in India. If thats the case, its time I rush now and ask one of my friends or my li'l sister to save some for me.

Here is a sample from Watershine range shade Mochaccino...can you see the glossy sheen??? OMG...I love these... They are supposed to have this so-called shine formula that reflects light like the surface of water to give your pout a sexy glistening finish! Also leaves lips feeling soft with a super shine infused with Vitamin E. They are non-sticky, long-lasting and hypoallergenic.

Somebody let me know if you find these in India anymore. Also, find the price of these, especially the lavender color containers...

Apricot scrub

Celeb skin guru Kathy Fields says: "Exfoliators with round exfoliating beads are more gentle on sensitive skins. Face scrubs with jagged particles like ground apricot stones can actually cause microscopic tears on the skin."

OMG, my poor skin has been a victim of apricot scrub for a while :( boohoo

I promise not to hurt my skin or tear it literally from now on! Somebody wants to join anti-apricot campaign? Jump in!
