Maybelline Shine Seduction Liquid Lip Color #310 Bitten Plum

Today's product of review is Maybelline Shine Seduction Liquid Lip Color #310 Bitten Plum! Maybelline seems to have discontinued the Shine Seduction range in UK and US! That might not be the case with the Indian market, though!

Claims - Captivating colour and concentrated shine! No tacky, sticky feel! Precision-perfect sculpting tip! Base clicks for easy-to-control application! Aqua-botanicals and Vitamin E keep lips kissably soft and smooth! Dermatologist and allergy tested! In 13 luscious creams and shimmers!

It was an impulse purchase! The moment I saw this gloss, I had to have it! Not only for the color, but for the packaging! I like collecting glosses with different packaging! Please do not assume that I have the wide range of glosses you can ever find!

Packaging is a sleek shiny silver click-through pen almost 5 inches in size! How to get the product out? Turn the base clockwise! Keep turning till you get the right amount of gloss! As simple as that! Once you open the cap, you find slant tip with six average-sized pores! The slantly sculpted tip is very precise for application! Preferably, I like the slant tip compared to the round ones like the Lancome Juicy Tubes! Bottom of the pen, you find the number of the gloss on the same color sticker as the gloss! It doesnt say Bittem Plum anywhere on the pen!

I dont know if you consider this a downside, but I do! Once you are done applying, the product still keeps oozing! Not so much so that you should run to fetch a bucket, but still its not a great scene! Consequence? Inside part of the cap gets messy! Just the same way a leaky refill does to the cap!

There are quite good shades ranging from nude to reds, both cream and shimmer finish in Maybelline Shine Seduction range! I am not comparing this to any other shade from this range because I didnt get to try the other shades! So, lets get to know more about #310 Bitten Plum! If you find this sheer, its wise not to expect pigmentation from sheer glosses!

#310 Bitten Plum is a cream finish with NO shimmer! Plum - nude - mauvey! Buildable if you want plum-colored lips! Please do not expect the pigmentation to be the same as a wall paint! Works wonders on pigmented lips like mine! You can be simple with just a swipe or two! You can layer on, so the true pigment shows on your lips! I prefer the simple look, rather! Matches my lips perfect! I cant exaggerate more! My-Lips-But-Better color in blogger terminology! For me, its the same tone as my lips! Looks like I have Vaseline Rosy Lips on!

Single swipe of #310! Twist if you want the real color!

To be honest, I never look for plumping effect in a gloss! I believe thats purely a marketing gimmick! My lips are average-sized, so I dont think I ever need a plumper whateva! My lips appear to kinda grow in size just because of the shiny gloss! Whenever I hear people say that plumpers sting and hurt sometimes, I am like "Why should I get pain as a bonus for spending my money?" Well, thats my perspective!

Twist clockwise to get the gloss out!

The formula is not sticky at all! I am very much relieved by that sound! If you layer on, it might feel heavy! Doesnt feel heavy on lips, otherwise! Very moisturizing! As if your lips are inside a moisture bubble! Thanks to the Aqua-botanicals and Vitamin E! God knows what aqua-botanicals mean! Staying power is average if you are on a hunger strike!

Stats - 0.08 Fl Oz or 2.4 ml gloss retails for 325 INR, Indian Rupees! I am not sure of the current price tag, though!

Body Shop Lip Gloss Dot

Lip gloss Dot? Must be Lip Gloss Pot, dolls! Today, we have Body Shop lip glosses in shades #1 Ice Shimmer, #3 Hot Pink and #4 Soft Plum! Unfortunately, we missed #2 Candy Pink and #5 Bilberry Juice!

Gives your lips a natural sheen while conditioning them with an everyday gloss that can be worn alone or over lip color! Moisturizing "Community Trade" marula oil from Namibia leaves lips soft and supple! Passion fruit fragrance adds a refreshingly juicy scent! Organic beeswax moisturizes and helps to condition dry skin, especially on your lips and around the fingernail beds! Acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture! Helps to keep product texture consistent when used over time! Vitamin E conditions, nourishes and protects the skin, leaving it soft, smooth and healthy! Organic Virgin/hydrogenated Coconut Oil helps to condition the skin to make you smooth, soft and deliciously scented!

Ingredients - Polybutene, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Beeswax, Polyethylene, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Ricinus Communis (Castor Seed) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Barium Sulfate, Flavor, Propylparaben, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol, Citral, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Mica, Titanium Dioxide

Ice Shimmer, Hot Pink, Soft Plum with flash!

Ice Shimmer, Hot Pink, Soft Plum without flash!

Love at first sight, but definitely not at first swipe! Just kiddin'! As you can see, Ice Shimmer is sheer sparkly gloss! Definitely, makes a great top coat! I feel the glitter in Ice Shimmer is kinda chunky compared to the other ones! The level of shimmer and sparkle varies accordingly!

If you remember, I got these in a sale for a pound each! I am not sure of the original price, though! I heard it was 6 pounds, but no confirmation! Will double check with Margaret from Body Shop and let you know ASAP! Why? We definitely dont wanna miss the original price coz thats what makes the purchase FUN! Who can resist the packaging? Definitely not myself! Glamorous packaging! Sleek n shiny! What would you do if you find these for a pound or whatever your currency is?

The colors can be sheer or buildable, depends on how you want them! So convenient! The colors are not very pigmented, so you can use them as a base coat or top coat or as your sole lip color! Hope this makes sense!

Soft Plum (top) & Hot Pink (bottom)

Alright! I deserve the "most pathetic swatches/pictures" award! Hey, why not somebody do that? Winning is my motto, best or worst! I want to WIN! I know, I will surely win this! Please vote for me! Next time, I will do my level best to help you win! Deal? Phew! Feels better!

Excuse me for not describing the shades! On lips, Soft Plum doesnt sparkle as much as Hot Pink! HP has some weird undertones, which makes my teeth look yellow and grubby! I can assure you HP has purple/blue undertones, which help my teeth look YUCK!

If I use the gloss alone, nothing exciting happens! I used Clinique All About Eyes as a lip base and tried the gloss! I know that sounds gross, but it worked! Ahem! I can speak, understand, read and write English! My lips were soft for a reasonable amount of time! Staying power? Definitely doesnt stick on for more than half an hour, which doesnt sound good! My observation! I was wrong in expecting a miracle! Now, I know glosses dont do the dishes!

Only downside, the fragrance! I know people are going gaga over the scent of this! Exclude me! I have never been a fan of fruity flavor, especially the nauseating ones! Indian dolls, ever tried Parle G Poppins? How do they feel? Hard and nauseating! They come in all sorts of fruity flavors! Others, its passion fruit fragrance that adds a refreshingly juicy scent! Yet to be blessed to sniff Passion fruit! God, please help me! I think I am gonna puke! Verdict? I am happy if not for the fragrance!

Time for vital stats! This 6.5 ml or 0.2 OZ or 6.5 g retails for "NOT SURE!" Lets assume 6 pounds, until we have the official confirmation! The life expectancy? Alright! They expire in 36 months! Whoaaa!

Three Musketeers!

For me, these glosses are ego satisfiers! God knows where I picked that word from! I definitely dont want to pass these, especially for the price! Not inspiring, of course! Building your collection? Try these! They look good! They feel good! Expect a typical gloss, nothing more!

Bourjois Effet 3D Lip Gloss

Dolls, dont you think these babies deserve a review? At least a mention? Today, I proudly present to you the Brilliant a Levres 3D lip gloss range from Bourjois! Other lines in Effet 3D range are Effet 3D Cosmic and Effet 3D Max gloss, which was launched recently! Not so recent, of course! 3D Effet gloss is the only Bourjois product I have ever tried! Shame, aye!

Claims - A formula enriched with micro crystalline wax for a deep, voluminous and ultra-shiny result. The specially designed brush applicator delivers ultra-glossy precise results with ease.

Tip from color designer Christophe Durand - Gloss and volume go hand in hand, so think to add a touch to the centre of the lower lip. For a super on-trend vinyl effect, you can apply a colour gloss then add a touch of clear for a sensational 3D smile.

Shade range - Beige elastic #01, Brun galactic #02, Rose idyllic #03, Rose emblematic #04, Rose angelic #05, Rose arctic #15, Beige theoric #16, Transparent oniric #18, Brun poetic #33, Rose Mythic #34, Fleur d'oranger poetic #36, Rose or chic #37, Rose symbolic #42, Rouge classic #43, Cannelle unic #44, Rose lyric #46.

Here, we have 3 shades Rose symbolic #42, Rouge classic #43, Cannelle unic #44! Ok, they might look similar, but you would be surprised to find a subtle variation! Agreed? I find the packaging is unique! Appears to have a heaven lotta product! Product expires in 18 months, which is really sad! What makes me happier? The information given on the packaging! It has a gold-colored lid with the shade number, color and swatch on it! The colour swatch on the cap is true to the colour in the tube, which makes things easier!

The formula was good when I purchased, but became kinda thick later on! Sounds silly? I feel so! I didnt get to use these as I had to finish my other glosses! The formula is non-sticky and moisturizing! I use them as much as I can coz they perform a dual role, gloss as well as moisturizer. It works as a tinted lip treatment for my lips, I can say. The applicator is brush-type. I personally like doe-foot applicators, but I dont find any issues with brush applicator, either. All I do is just dot and spread the color! No efforts!

Staying power? I dont mind as long as the moisturizer stays and the color fades away. The last thing I need on my lips is flakes. This does not happen with these glosses, which is why I like them! The colors I have are sheer pigmented sans shimmer. Coming to the fragrance, I really cant describe! I am 200% sure it has a lingering fragrance! Like a mild aroma! Tried these yet? You know what I am talking about better! I bought these in 3 for 2 i.e. you buy 2 and get 3rd cheapest or equal prodcut for free! I wish I chose different colors! Never mind!

As for the plumping effect, I really dont observe such things! I dont invest in plumpers coz I feel thats a pure marketing strategy! Personally, I dont need a plumper! All I need is soft lips with a hint of tint! Small things really make me happy! Retails for 6.99 pounds! Repurchase! Heavens, YES! I never regret buying these!

L'Oreal 6H Glam Shine Gloss Brillance

My reviews must be really boring coz I dont do the hot stuff, but things almost forgotten! There are people who dont even know about these things as well like my besties :) so I consider these kinda reviews target people like my besties so they know what the product was once, if its extinct now!

Here I am with 2 more glosses in my hand, ready to be reviewed! So, these are from L'Oreal Glam Shine 6H range. I have the shades #200 6H Mauve and #201 Loyal Wild Rose. I wanted to get my hands on
# 105 Hold-On-Rose which is featured in the L'Oreal commercial on Aishwarya Rai, but on swatch it was less pigmented. I thought, may be Aish had some lipstick on, hence the dark pigmentation! Whatever it is! Personally, I dont feel there is a big difference in the above 2 shades I have other than for the sparkles or may be a little more pigmentation. Did I confuse ya? I hope, not!

The packaging is too chic for a drug store product, so 5/5 for that. Decent pigmentation as well! I can guarantee it doesnt stay for 6 hours as per the promise. You know what? I dont mind reapplying a product as long as I am happy. Like, if I feel the product is really worth the tag, that should not be a problem at all! I dont expect a product to work as an all rounder, BTW! If you like the pigmentation / brand / price/ looks, just go for it! At least, thats how I choose my products!

I hate the weird fragrance of the 6H range, particularly! So, 0/5 for that! It doesnt leave my lips when I wipe off the gloss, even! It dries up the lips, if you are not cautious enough! I always had some problem or the other with these glosses, especially when I forget using a lip balm.

6H range is more sticky and transfers to the lips fast, so I dont reach for these mostly! I love the other range of Glam Shine, the fat short tubes. They dont stick to the lips and are not as sticky as 6H range! Did you feel the same?

Pigmentation is pretty good, but doesnt stay as long! It makes your lips look luscious and plumpy, whateva! Your lips look plumpy as long as you have a great amount of gloss on! So, the logic lies in applying and reapplying!

The price is almost 7 pounds, which is kinda expensive for a drug store gloss. But, I got mine in promotions like the Mauve one was 2 pounds off during launch and Loyal Wild Rose was from Buy Two Get One Free (BTGOF) offer!

Coming to #200 Mauve, its infused with silver somewhere! I feel so or am I too conscious? I can see the silver for sure! If not on the lips, at least in the tube! I like this color for the day, in particular! Try this yourself! Loyal Wild Rose is like a dark plum with sparkles!

The wand is unique and big enough, so you get the complete color in one sweep! The only thing I like in L'Oreal has to be this heart-shaped wand!

Repurchase, I dont think so! May be YAY for the shades, but definitely NAY for the strong smell!

The top one is Loyal Wild Rose (multi-color sparkles) and the bottom one is Mauve (can u see the silver infused in that?)

Ok, I thought the first pic had labels so u might not be able to see the colors. Here is the pic without labels!

Ignore my stupid swatches! My cam is really stubborn :) The top one if you can make out is Loyal Wild Rose and the bottom one, Mauve. LWR is kinda fuschia-undertone with sparkles whereas the Mauve one is just a creamy sheer color! Love Mauve!

Maybelline Watershine Liquid Gloss

I am not sure from what collection this color comes from, but I found this in a Brazilian site. Does somebody have this? I tried to find reviews over the net, but in vain. I bought this at Maybelline counter in Bangalore Central, India. Hope somebody has this...

Okay, I dont know how to describe this color. Its rather tricky. The perfect nude gloss, but doesnt wash out. Nude with pink undertones? Wait, lemme post the pics so that you decide for yourselves what shade category this comes under! As mentioned earlier, this is from Maybelline's Watershine range in #521 Naked Brown.

The packaging is typical with silver cap and silvery band kinda thing on the tube; 3ml container. This looks smaller compared to my other Maybelline glosses. This surely has a fragrance...wait! This sure smells like my cough syrup, at least that is the first thing that strikes my mind. Some kinda sweet notes in the background...The applicator looks like doe foot, but different in some way. May be long and a bit wide at the end, I feel. It really helps in easy application like I hardly need to apply many times for a full coverage whateva!

The texture is fine and creamy, hence moisturizing. The formulation is not so sticky or not at all sticky, I can say! I dont get the feel of stickiness, at least! There are no sparkles, so good for day time. I can 200% recommend this for work place, in case they still do this color. If you know me, I use lip balm before using any lip products. So is the case here and it slides on smooth and stays for a decent amount of time. Stays more without food and drinks.... It fades off evenly; leaving the lips moisturizing and soft. If I have to pick a gloss for day, this would be my pick!

Pigmentation is good, but does not stay long! I mean, not the staying power of the gloss, but the pigmentation of the gloss. My lips are kinda flesh-toned, so this the perfect MLBB color, for me!

Uiii....I found a perfect partner for this gloss, L'Oreal #708 Aishwarya Beige. They both perform well, together! Match made in heaven? If I use both, may be lips look more pigmented than when you use the gloss, alone!

I bought this long back like 2 years, so not even sure of the price. Must be somewhere around 150 INR. If you find this anywhere, do let me know! This is the color to have a back up, for me! I cannot tell ya more than this, so I post you a couple of pics. See for yourself how tricky this shade can get!

Here is the swatch of #521 Naked Brown in day light! See, there are no sparkles or anything, but sheer creamy color. Can you see the pink/mauve tones? Does it look like a brown? May be mashed brown, pink and mauve!

The best I could get! Can you see the applicator? Dont ya think its someway different from the regular one? Its angled and longer, to some extent!

This is how it looked like when I left it on a kinda-sunny window sill! See the size, looks like a lilliput's gloss, right? Here, it kinda looks dark. Now, wait for the shocker!

Here, it looks creamy pink gloss. FYI, this was taken in the same light as the previous ones! So, this surely has some pink undertone! Confirm!

See this! Do you call this pink or brown? Another swatch to confirm?

Are you convinced by now? I confirm this as a brown gloss (shade says so) with pink/mauvy undertones. If you can categorize this shade, you are more than welcome. That would be really appreciated! This is my best gloss eva!

Uiii...my bad! The packaging says en Brasil!

Revlon Super Lustrous Pearl Plum

I dont know if I could call it a sensational shade like Cherries in the glow, my personal favorite. This color in particular has a tendency to subside like the pigmentation fades evenly and looks great on the lips. Might look too much on first application, but dont have to worry. It takes its own course...

This was my first purchase and first gloss from Revlon i.e. Super Lustrous Lip gloss in #18 Pearl Plum (also #090). The consistency is good and not-so-heavy.  I find this sticky, but not troubling. Its a buildable color and intensifies on application. I bought this for 275 INR at a departmental "Angels" in Anna Nagar, Chennai.

If you know me, I am more plum kinda person, so it looked great on my skin tone. Staying power was decent. I would rather prefer wearing this colour alone. I would definitely recommend this colour if you are also a plum person like me. Many people might find it hard for the day time, so if you are on a hunt for night colors give this a try. I am not even sure if Revlon still has this. If it still does this, try for this winter.

Repurchase, I dont think so! Not that I dont like this color, but I would rather have a back up for my Cherries in the Glow.

Here comes the duo, the first sparkly one Pearl Plum and the second, Cherries in the Glow. Just trying to compare both the shades in day light :) If you read my previous post on Cherries in the Glow, you might see a different shade. That was also taken during the day, but I guess this color is kinda tricky. Wat say?

This was the best I could manage to get these 2 shades in to a single frame! Kindly ignore the background :)

Color Bar Star Shine Lip Gloss

Color Bar Star Shine gloss is a sheer gloss with glitter that gives the lips a sheen and look of liquid diamonds. It makes the lips look fuller and more enhanced. The Star Shine Lip Gloss is ideal for night and party wear and can be used alone or over a lipstick. It comes in 12 starry shades and is further accentuated with a matching lipstick or lip liner - colorbarcosmetics.com

I got mine for about 125 INR at sale, though not sure. Its been a while, so cant remember. I believe now it retails for about 200 INR. I have 2 gorgeous shades #001 Bare Truth and #012 Pink Kiss. Pink Kiss somewhat looks like Barbie pink for me for some reason.

The packaging is quite okay for the price, so cant complain on that issue. This surely has a great fragrance like cookies? something that reminds me of a bakery...so sweet and lingering. At times, I can sense the smell of tonic, but not a bitter one for sure.

Colorwise, they are nicely pigmented and fade evenly. As per the name, it has multi-colored sparkles, which get quite chunky on my lips after a while. May be, I am too conscious. Staying power is decent. Comes with the regular doe foot applicator. Apply this gloss...your lips look super sexy....juicy.... I can tell that it has some plumping factor in it sans tingling. My lips are average-sized, so I care a fig about plumping. It has a good fragrance while applying and after application, too. Its not sticky YAY!!!!

Here comes the shocker. After a while, the glitter somehow sticks on to your lips. Must be the formula. It is so stubborn...even you wipe off hard, the glitter still seems to stay on. So, I have to use some oil based wipe or some such thing to get rid of the glitter. So, its always recommendable to use a good lip balm under this gloss. At least, you can get rid of the glitter to some extent with the first wipe. I learnt my lesson!

Repurchase, not so sure because the glitters give me jitters! Star Shine range as per the promise is definitely for night times. Glitter is surely glamorous, but not for me. I am not at all comfortable with glitter all over me! I might be able to carry these at nights, but day time? I should reconsider.

I am planning to give away one of these to my li'l sister. She is another lip gloss freak like me. I actually thought of giving away both the colors, but I am reconsidering that. Poor li'l thing! I am bitchy sometimes. Sorry my dear sis', but may be I should give the gloss some time...

For me, the only downside is the sticky glitter. Otherwise, it is a great gloss for that price! Great going CB!!!

As you can see, they are almost near, but different! Can you see the sparkles? The glosses are Bare Truth on the top and Pink Kiss at the Bottom. Swatch wise, Pink Kiss is the first and Bare Truth takes the bottom row. Pink Kiss looks ravishing in day light. How do I know? I tried once :)

Kindly excuse the blurred images, my cam kissed my floor :(

L'Oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss

Wow...that was mouthful! Definitely not the latest launch, but I felt they deserve a special mention/review.

L'Oreal's Glam Shine Blush lipglosses promise to stay on no matter what you eat, drink or who you kiss. The secret behind the gloss - sold every four minutes in the UK - is in the hydrating properties that make lips shimmer and shine. The non-sticky texture means lips will also look smooth - Vogue.co.uk

So, here I am talking about L'Oreal Glam Shine lip glosses from their Blush and Natural Glow ranges. I have #155 in Plum Blush and #409 in Crystal Bronze Glow. Normally, I am not a person who seriously follows the latest releases online and rush to the stores to stock them up. If I get to see them on my weekend visits, I like the quality, price and shades in particular, I end up buying. I have 4 glosses from L'Oreal; 2 from Glam Shine 6H Gloss Brillance and 2 from Glam Shine!

This post is purely about the 2 shades from Glam Shine i.e. Plum Blush and Crystal Bronze Glow. As you can see, the packaging is chic like hour-glass. These retail for 6.99 pounds. I got the Plum Blush in 3 for 2 offer. I got the Crystal bronze glow for 1 or 2 pounds in a sale. Lucky me!

The consistency is not so thick, particularly. It has multi-colored sparkles for that dazzling shine. Its also meant for volumizing/plumping the lips. I dont find this particularly an issue because I am not much into plumpers whateva! I like the color, thats it. End of the story!

This gloss is not sticky, as per the promise. I am finally glad I found something from L'Oreal thats non-sticky. I hate it when gloss transfers to my teeth. The other day at my brother's wedding, I had 6H gloss on my lips and after a while, my brother came to me and he was like "What's that on ur teeth? Teethstick?" I immediately had to cover up and I was like "That's my gloss." If at all I happen to use those 2 shades from 6H range, I would be very cautious. Remember, I warned you already!

I consider these glosses really glamorous for the shine. Staying power, not so sure. I dont mind reapplying as long as I am comfortable with other aspects like the fragrance and shade. I dont think they stay long. I find the glitter get chunky on my lips for some reason, but not so bothering. Pretty manageable! The glitter somehow disappears after a while and I like the way it fades evenly. It doesnt leave my lips patchy. The best tip to make your lip products work well is apply a good lip balm first. You can see the wonders for yourself.

Fragrance of L'Oreal glosses is not-so-good. I would not repurchase if its not for the pretty shades and price range. I can carry these colors both for day and night as well, but depends on the outfit mostly!

The applicator is angled and helps in easy application. They call this applicator heart-shaped, but I prefer to call it pear-shaped. What would you prefer? More product with this applicator, for sure! Did I forget something?

The top most color is Crystal Bronze Glow and the bottom one, Plum Blush :) Crystal bronze might work as a highlighter and eye shadow as well!

Maybelline Shiny-licious

This is my tube of Maybelline Shiny-licious range in #85 Chocolate Cherry and the perfect MLBB colour. The colour is very natural and it really helps bring out the natural tone of my lips. This is not too sticky (attracts my lovely hair at times) and feels very light on lips.

The packaging is neat and thank god, it is transparent. I find the concept of the colour of the lid/cap being similar to the product very attractive. I actually like the sponge/foam applicator which glides smoo.......th on the lips. That too, its is slant and it helps very well in even and precise application of the product. The scent of this is lingering (sometimes) and not too pigmented. It looks plum-coloured in the packaging, but certainly has some brown undertone to it......I feel strongly.

I think the best out of it can be made by topping this product on your favourite lip products. I prefer using Clinique Black Honey as a base to this gloss and perfect..........they go together. This has no glitter or shimmer to it, but fairly sheer in texture. It tastes like a candy and smells sweet too, hence the name shiny-licious (must be a combo of shiny and delicious).

Not too long-lasting and fades evenly. C'mon... I can't complain for that price.....it's simply cool. On a scale of 5, I rate it 5......................simply cool.

Maybelline Shine Seduction Glossy Lip Colour

I am not brand-loyal, especially in case of colour cosmetics. So, anything catchy gets my serious attention. I dont know why am I bent over this plum family, well...here comes my Maybelline Shine Seduction lip gloss in #310 Bitten Plum.

The first thing I see in a product is the brand (at least, a well-known brand with some standards). Second comes the price. Third comes the colour. Fourth comes the packaging and last but not the least the offers simply blow me away. I am a sucker for off.......ers. Especially, 3 for 2 offer is the one I really dont want to miss by any chance.

This particular product gives pretty good shine thats not too sheeny-shiny, lets say subtle shine. I never had a chance of introducing my lip balm to this, so not sure how it looks with balm under. Otherwise, it does not last that long. The product is great in its own way, but once faded, I could see my lips chapped. Not sure if its because of the product or because of lack of lip balm.

The packaging is pretty cool and shiny, ok let's consider that to be a pen. The colour of the lip gloss is seen in the middle of the pen. The tip is porous (six decent pores) and acts as a sifter to allow the product conveniently. The tip is slant and helps in precise application of the gloss. The tip of the pen really helps have control while applying. At the bottom, you find the control. Once that is twisted/turned clock-wise, product starts coming from the pores. You can hear it click-click, hence the name click-through pen (right?).

Finally, God..........this does not stick..........It is so slim and easy to carry. No worry of leakage or bad spills. I always felt Maybelline came up with unique shades of colour cosmetics. I bought this for Rs. 310 last year, which is a bit pricey for me. But, the packaging compensates the price so not a big deal.........

The only thing I dont like in this is the smell yuck..........I simply cannot define that. On a scale of 5, I would rate this 4.5.

Revlon Super Lustrous Cherries In The Glow

So, here comes my all-time favourite lippie.............Revlon Cherries In The Glow.

This shade name in particular has a story. My friend's sister had this penchant for cosmetics and had Revlon Berries In Snow nail colour and OMG I simply had to love that the very first sight!!! There came a fine dawn in my 9th grade where I could see that colour on my nails. I still remember that beautiful colour on my looooooo....ng fingers and that was when I realized I too had great fingers (of course, my personal opinion...uh.....wait a minute, my friend's sis always wished to have long fingers like I did). I am not sure if they still do that shade, but whenever I hear of Berries or Cherries, it makes me specifically nostalgic.

My first investment in Revlon was Super Lustrous Lip gloss in #18 Pearl Plum (also #090), which I am gonna talk about soon. I was longing for Cherries In The Glow since I saw that in my cousin's vanity. I told her to find one for me, but by then, that colour had been discontinued. I felt so bad and let it go thinking it might be from the temporary collection.

My luck finally landed me in Brand Factory and there was a sale going on. When I was browsing the aisles, I came to know that this shade was on-the-move. I am glad I got my hands on it and simply no regrets. How I wish they consider this colour in their permanent collection? I got this for Rs. 250 (actual price being Rs. 310), which was pretty good bargain for me. I would have bought this particular thing even if it was a non-sale item.

I hear people describing this as red, but I always find flesh undertone to this. It appears red from one profile but the other side, looks fleshy. No shimmer, no glitter, no frost and only flesh-red (not sure if the comparision is right). Gives blushing look to your lips. This is that type of colour which everybody can have a backup (spare) in case you worry that you might run out of this one day? I wish to have one more....

The consistency is good, not-so-heavy and of course, my hair sticks to this also.....thought might not be too sticky as Sally Hansen's lip treatment. Packaging was pretty good and looks high-end. . Being a drug store brand, Revlon is more on the pricey side in UK. I always get L'Oreal, Bourjois etc for a cheaper price comparitively. I don't know if its same everywhere.

It looked cool for my skin tone and stays put at least for a decent amount of time. I would prefer wearing this colour alone rather. It fades out evenly, which is what I like in this particular colour. I wish this must be the only colour having more number of positive reviews than anything else. I simply recommend this colour to anybody in my life, even those who are not in to lip glosses and lipsticks can carry this colour very confidently.

As of now, I dont think this specific product has any disadvantages. If somebody did come across, please do let me know!
